Initial Costs
The initial fee for becoming a Wing Kingz franchisee is £25,000 (plus VAT). Included in this fee is:
- The full franchise licence and right to trade under our brand
- Full training and ongoing support
- Your own exclusive territory with excellent growth potential
- Access to our preferred suppliers for food, alcohol, packaging, branding, etc.
- A 6-week Sky advertisement package for your territory
The initial franchise agreement lasts for five years and is renewable, subject to certain criteria being met by the franchisee and in agreement with the franchisor.
Store Fit-Out Costs:
Of course, there are also a number of other costs to consider, such as leasing and setting up your site, hiring or purchasing equipment, etc. These costs can vary from location to location, but we have prepared a detailed breakdown based on our current outlets, which we will be happy to discuss further with you.
You will also need to make sure you have a certain amount of working capital available to cover hiring staff, purchasing supplies, and managing day-to-day costs while you build up your customer base in the local area.
Depending on the trading style, we estimate that for a QSR site, you will be up and trading successfully for around £218,000 (exclusive of VAT), whilst for a full Dining restaurant, the costs will be around £310,000 (exclusive of VAT).
You will need to be able to invest at least 50% of the total investment through liquid funds.
Ongoing Costs
Becoming a franchisee of Wing Kingz is all about being your own boss and growing your own business, so the majority of the money you make stays with you, of course. However, there are certain costs involved in maintaining our partnership.
Wing Kingz charges a Management Service Fee of 5% of your net annual turnover (well below the average charged by most other franchises!).
We also expect you to pay a further 2% of your net turnover as a contribution towards our national and local marketing efforts.
Earning Potential
A Wing Kingz franchise has great potential for bringing you a rapid and substantial return on your investment. Exactly how much you can expect to earn from your franchise can vary a great deal, of course, depending on a variety of factors such as location and the local market.
As part of the process of joining the Wing Kingz franchise, we will work closely with you to develop detailed financial modelling of exactly how much you might earn with your own restaurants or multi-unit operation. This will take into account potential profit levels based on expected numbers of customers, average customer spend, and operating expenses of a business in your territory.
Once you have signed a non-disclosure agreement, we will also be able to share more in-depth financial data from our current operations.
However, based on our experience to date, you can reasonably expect to be making a six-figure income from Year 2, with even higher projections for multi-unit franchises.
